1. iPhone 15 Pro - The Comfort King
The iPhone 15 Pro is the comfort king due to its compact size but a performance that would outdo most devices available on the market today. It has a stellar display, a decent battery time, and camera capabilities that will blow your mind. Here are some of the primary features of the 15 Pro that makes it a comfort king and a personal preference.
Camera Capabilities
The iPhone 15 Pro comes with a triple camera setup on the back where the primary lens is an amazing 48MP wide lens with an f/1.8 aperture, meaning that the night photography is great.
Then we have two cameras, out of which one is a 12MP telephoto lens and a 12MP ultrawide. The telephoto lens is a 3x lens, which is an upgrade from the previous 2x lens. It also shoots up to 4K at 60fps with HDR capabilities. On the front, we have a 12MP selfie shooter with gyro EIS that can also shoot up to 4K at 60fps as well.
Display & Design
Beyond the camera, we have a titanium design, which makes the phone lighter and much more secure. The phone comes with a 6.1 inch LPTO OLED display with 120Hz that goes up to 2000 nits, meaning that the outdoor visibility will be awesome. The panel is 1179 x 2556 pixels in resolution and due to its small size, everything is crisp and awesome.
Performance
WIth the new Apple A17 Pro chip, the device can run any task you throw at it. It is so powerful that a port of the Resident Evil: Village game was launched on the device, which it could play. With its 6-core GPU the device works perfect in gaming, scrolling social media, or even editing.
Battery Life
Coming at 3274 mAh, the 15 Pro’s battery isn’t the best. It is not even a full day phone but thanks to fast charging, it can charge up to 50% in just 30 minutes. The device also supports 15W wireless charging with magsafe and 4.5 reverse wired charging.
2. Google Pixel 8 Pro - The Best Camera
In the battle of cameras, the Pixel 8 Pro is the undisputed winner due to its sharp images and a low light performance you’ll never be disappointed with. While the phone is massive, Pixel’s minimal design captivates the hearts of many, making it one of the best smartphones this year. Here are some key features to check out:
Camera Capabilities
The Pixel 8 Pro comes with a 50MP primary lens, a 48MP 5x optical zoom camera, and a 48MP ultrawide sensor that is a game changer. It can shoot 4K at 60fps but 1080p at 240fps, which is just insane. On the front, it’s rocking a 10.5 MP ultrawide lens and can capture 4K upto 60 fps. All in all, the Pixel 8 Pro’s camera capabilities are better than any smartphone on the market.
Display & Design
For the display, the Pixel 8 Pro comes with a 120Hz LTPO OLED that can go as much as 2400 nits in peak brightness. It has a 1344 x 2992 pixels display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and all in all, it has one of the best smartphone displays that are sharp and bright.

3. OnePlus Open - The Best Foldable Device
But what if you’re looking for the best foldable? Well, in the world of foldables, there’s a new contender for the best device and it’s OnePlus Open. In summary, the OnePlus Open is the only foldable device that doesn’t compromise. Here are some of its key features.
Camera Capabilities
This device might have the best camera on any foldable device right now. Aside from its huge camera bump, the performance of this camera setup will surprise you. It comes with a triple camera setup with the primary lens being 48MP wide. But then we have a 64MP ultra-wide lens that just makes things a lot sharper than any other telephoto lens on a foldable device. This lens comes with an optical zoom of 3x. The device can record 4K up to 60fps but on selfie, it only goes to 30fps. The cover front camera is 20MP and inside the fold, we have a 32 MP camera.
Display & Design
Design is where the OnePlus Open takes things on a whole nother level. It looks more like a phone and is massive, coming at a 7.82 inches when the phone is unfolding. Moreover, the inner screen goes up to 2800 nits which is just impressive. Of course, both the outside and inside displays are 120Hz but the outside display is slightly less in resolution, coming at 1116 x 2484 pixels while the inner display has an impressive 2268 x 2440 pixels.
Performance
When it comes to the OnePlus Open’s performance, it slays with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Coupled with a 512GB storage and 16GB RAM option, you’re getting a treat unlike anything you’ve even seen. The performance is amazing with the phone handling multitasking like a champ.
Battery Life
The one main complaint with any foldable is its battery life. The phone comes with a 4805 mAh battery which might not be the best in all the phones but in foldables, that’s one of the biggest batteries you’ll see. But with 67W wired charging, the OnePlus Open can easily charge to 100% in just 42 minutes.
Conclusion
Each of the smartphones we’ve mentioned have a unique side to it. The iPhone 15 Pro provides comfort with an amazing camera setup, great display, and a powerful processor. Then we have the Pixel 8 Pro that’s massive but has the best camera in any smartphone. Lastly, the OnePlus Open changed the foldable world by providing a great camera, amazing performance, and most of all, a great battery timing.
